Small-incision cataract surgery (SICS) is also called manual small-incision cataract surgery (MSICS) or sutureless extra-capsular cataract extraction (SECCE). It is a safe, cost-effective procedure with very good outcomes. The technique is well described in the literature, as is the management of its complications.

Imported Foldable IOL Lens are made of a flexible material which allows them to be folded. The folded lens implant is small enough to fit through the tiny phaco incision. The incision is so small that it usually does not require any stitches. The natural pressure inside the eye holds the incision closed which the eye heals.
