In Hrudaya Basti medicated oil is tactically placed over the chest on the heart region. This is achieved by structuring a wall by marking the surface anatomy of the heart.The medicated oil is maintained warm throughout the procedure.

Hrudaya Basti promotes collateral circulation to the heart, thus is useful in stable cases of chronic angina. It also promotes the strength of the heart and is also used to treat various diseases caused due to weakness of Hrudaya (heart) or in cases of Oja-kshya (reduction of Ojas).
